STANDWITH Improves Caregiver Support By Communicating Daily Chores

A new app from the founder of Fuck Cancer aims to improve communication when it comes to caregiver support. The STANDWITH mobile app from Yael Cohen will allow collaboration between caregivers and supporters so they can better assist patients.

This system works similarly to TaskRabbit, but it relies on goodwill instead of small payments. Coming soon, the app allows caregivers to tap the friends and family members of patients so they can help with daily chores. The caregiver support app provides caregivers with the patient's contacts and social networks so they can reach out if they need help with everyday small tasks like laundry, groceries and kid pickups. Through the app, friends can chat and see who has agreed to do what. The app also allows supporters who are unable to give their time to donate funds for necessary purchases through AmazonFresh and Uber.
