Canadian Tire Launches a Gamified App to Track Offers, Money and Points

Canadian Tire has officially launched a loyalty program geared toward the homeware retail brand's MasterCard consumers that allows them to gain promotional offers and oversee payments from one gamified platform. The program, entitled 'mPlay & Play' lets users track their spending, upcoming products and their Canadian Tire money.

The new app is designed to increase the consumers shopping experience through a gamified platform. Users can track their spending, payments, play games to earn point badges and hone in on exclusive offers. The app also keeps virtual track of Canadian Tire money meaning that consumers no longer have to have the bills on them for spending.

Other perks of the app include consumers being able to earn points or 'badges' that can be cashed in to buy goods at either Canadian Tire retailers or Sport Check.
