Buttons ‘n’ Threads is an Australian clothing start-up that claims to offer high-end designer dress shirts that match the quality of big-name brands but at a lower price.

The Buttons ‘n’ Threads shirts feature as many as 23-25 stitches per inch, making them virtually invisible and making the shirt looks seamlessly crafted together. Each buttonhole contains as many as 200 stitches, allowing for easier buttoning and preventing fraying of buttonholes. The sleeve guard and lower front plackets feature a unique horizontal buttonhole that prevents the shirt from tensing up inside your pants. The buttons themselves are made from high quality Australian Mother of Pearl, making them both elegant as well as durable and long-lasting.

The founders of Buttons ‘n’ Threads claim that each shirt takes 11 hours to produce as opposed to regular off-the-rack dress shirts that take about 30 minutes to produce. It is this extra attention that makes the shirts a viable alternative to regular dress shirts. Buttons ‘n’ Threads will soon be launching an Indiegogo crowdfunding campaign to raise funds for the project. Stats for Cost-Conscious Designer Shirts Trending: Older & Average
