The Bulgari Octo Finissimo Ultra timepiece has been unveiled as the brand's latest piece that puts an ultra-thin construction in the spotlight, while also bridging the real and virtual worlds in new ways.
The ultra-thin timepiece measures in at just 1.8mm in thickness from the rear casing to the top of the sapphire crystal lens, which is imperceivable from the top and only revealed upon a side view inspection. The watch features a total of eight patents filed in relation to its design, function and form.
Limited to just 10 examples, the timepiece is engraved with a QR that, when scanned, offers access to the design and history of the accessory. Recipients of the timepieces will also receive exclusive NFT artwork that confirms authenticity of the watch, which is guaranteed by the Bvlgari Singvlarity technology, the eighth patent of the previously mentioned filings. The entire digital ecosystem surrounding the timepiece will be unveiled in a few months when the watch is released.
