Ximena Escobar uses brown and white bread as canvases on which he adds illustrations, creates collages and even performs needle craft.

The result is a series of delicate looking pieces that bring the idea of high tea to mind. I love these works and would be a very happy Cowbag if toast could be brought to me everyday in bed that says, “Good morning my love.”

There have been a lot of food art posts on Trend Hunter, but none quite like this, which is a bit like an artistic role reversal.
