I just had to share this series of amazing images for the Brazilian carnival. They are astounding, and manage to do what I thought was impossible: to capture the spirit of the Rio carnival in a still image.

Interesting, as the source article points out, Roman Catholics really know how to throw a good party. It’s somewhat peculiar an area with such a predominant religion is currently drowning under a sea of glitter and feathers.
