The population of consumers living alone in North America is on the rise, so new innovations that aid the single lifestyle like the 'Singular' bowl holder are coming about. Coming in two different design options, the 'Singular' works by allowing a small bowl of food -- salad, soup, pasta, etc. -- to be held in addition to keeping a book open in front. This allows users to eat while they read without having to perform a balancing act.

The wire rod design of the 'Singular' allows it to be gripped easily without having to worry about dropping it. Designed by Andrew Loh, the 'Singular' bowl holder also comes in a different model that holds one large bowl and one smaller one to make mealtime more efficient.
