"Elegant" doesn't even begin to describe the BMW Gran Lusso Coupe concept. This beautiful one-off was created by BMW in partnership with Italian automotive design firm Pininfarina. Pininfarina added a touch of Italian style to this concept and the result is truly something special. The Gran Lusso Coupe has a sleek body that is a good deal more eye-catching than the 6 Series Coupe on which it's based. It rides on an extended wheelbase and is powered by a V12 engine.
While the exterior of the BMW Gran Lusso Coupe is amazing in its own right, it pales in comparison to the interior. Pininfarina covered the seats in Foglizzo leather and crafted a one-of-a-kind dashboard using a single piece of kauri wood. Said wood grows only in New Zealand, and the piece the designer used is said to be 48,000 years old. The BMW Gran Lusso Coupe will make its official debut at the upcoming Concorso d’Eleganza Villa d’Este 2013.
