 Super-Sized Birth Control Memory Aids from Little Elk Published: Jun 13, 09 Comments: 3 Views: 4,026 Working from the idea that a condom replica 100 times the size of an actual condom will be a reminder for the very forgetful, Little Elk, a Lancaster, Pennsylvania crafter, hand silkscreens fabric and makes unique condom-wrapper pillows. The polyester-filled pillows sell with or without an oversized stretchy fabric condom large enough to double as a body bag. All contain a pocket for the more modestly-sized functional condoms. For those who just can’t get enough condom-themed merchandise in their lives, there are also hand silk-screened zipper condom pouches.  This pillow measures about 18" by 17" and both sides are lovingly hand-pulled silkscreens printed on white poplin fabric by yours truly. Everything in color is the printed ink. The 'happy condom' pattern printed on the inside is also drawn by me, burned onto a screen and hand printed. I don't use any machines. All I have is a screen, a squeegee and a backing board, and PROUD OF IT! i do not test print on fabric- I test print on newsprint and reuse it many many times, this way I minimize waste.
