German designer Benjamin Carr took on the challenge of redesigning the walker. Carr’s objectives, according to his portfolio, were to design something that would help to get rid of the stigma associated with disability. Walkers used to be cumbersome and unattractive, but Benjamin Carr’s is futuristic and comes in a variety of colors.
The design is too high tech to go into too all the details here. For more on Benjamin Carr’s new walking aid, check out his site.
