This Beauté du Siècle treasure chest containing a 100-year-old cognac is available in Russia for a mere $200,000.
Although known as the vodka capitol of the world, Russia holds seventh place as a consumer of cognac (5.3 million bottles in 2006). Hennessy has the largest market share, followed by Rémy Martin, Martell, and Courvoisier. In Russia, cognac is considered the celebration drink, toasting weddings, births, anniversaries, and any other excuse to celebrate.
