Bands Funded by Fans

Sell a Band is a cool new community site where fans can purchase shares in aspiring bands.  The funding helps the bands to professionally record their music.  If they make it big, the fans prosper.  For the bands, it is a pretty cool way to raise money.  “The music industry is all about fences. Those who are on the inside, and those who are on the outside. SellaBand wants to break down all the fences. Everybody with a passion for music can be on the inside.” How does it work?  The site explains, “In total there are 5,000 so called Parts of $10 each. So, what you have to do is find 5,000 Believers who will buy 1 Part. Or find 2,500 who will buy 2 Parts. Or find 1 Believer who buys 5,000 Parts. Anyway, we think you get the picture.”
