Britney or Beatrice? Celebrities and other uber cool couples took no hesitation in choosing the latter in 2008. Recent birth certificates have proven that naming trends really do take a whole century to become cutting edge cool once again.  This week, BabyNames.com took a user poll of the best and worst celebrity names of 2008. Check out some of the grandparent-esque selections: 

Girls:

Rose: (Willow Rose Owen of Mark Owen and Emma Ferguson)

Florence: (Sage Florence Galafassi of Toni Collette and Dave Galafassi)

Clementine: (Clementine Jane Hawke of Ethan Hawke and Ryan Shawhughes)

Nell: (Nell Burton of Helena Bonham Carter and Tim Burton)

Mabel: (Mabel Ray Mulroney of Dermot Mulroney and Tharita Catulle)

Boys:

Henry: (Henry Story Driver of Minnie Driver)

Many of these names made the top 20 lists in the early 1900’s.
