The pictures here are of an Achilles ‘piercing’ on a performance artist called Mr. Tetanus (you could not make a better name up for this article if you tried). To give you some idea of how extreme this is, the piercing is around twelve years old; when the bar comes out, the exterior hole closes up within minutes and the hole closes fully inside within 20 minutes.
