Apple announced the creation of three new iPods at an Apple event. The Ipod Nano Third (generation), the iPod Classic, and the newest, iPod Touch. The Touch comes in 8GB and 16GB versions, the Classic packs a 80GB or 160GB version, and the new Nano comes in 4GB and 8GB versions. The Touch is the most innovative because it comes with WiFi, and a multi-touch user interface

Implications - Iconic brands such as Apple have the ability to pull consumers in with newer, faster and more aesthetically appeasing pieces that are updates of previous versions. By launching these products, the consumers feel that they are the "early adapters" which makes them feel special, strengthening an already positive bond.
