There are many things that set cities and countries apart, but Andre Vicente Goncalves has honed in on a unique detail often appreciated, but never truly contemplated over: Windows. Dubbing his photo series 'Windows of the World,' Andre Vicente Goncalves explores the variety of designs within a city and across continents to bring a new perspective to the art of architecture and more.

From Italy to the Alps, Andre Vicente Goncalves captures colorful exteriors, sills, shutters and shapes in a vibrant mosaic. He shares, "I always had a curiosity about windows, like the structure of houses, they change region to region." He goes on to say, "[It’s] a big evolution from the earliest windows that were only a hole in the wall."
