The Fujitsu design competition 'A Life With Future Computing' is officially my favorite event of the year, thanks to solid and innovative designs such as the Anderson Lifebook from designers Ma Yiwei and Tao Ying. The Anderson Lifebook is a laptop with a hinged screen that works in either portrait or landscape mode.
The Anderson Lifebook measures 16.5 centimeters on every side and is only 2 centimeters thick when closed. The hinged screen lets this device pull double duty as you can use it as a conventional laptop or as an unconventional tablet. Using the Anderson Lifebook in landscape mode interest me the most, as I am curious to see what could be done with a touchscreen that also doubles as your interface on one side and a keyboard on the other.
