Given the media’s unrelated obsession with promiscuous starlets like Britney Spears, Lindsay Lohan, and Paris Hilton it was only a matter of time for a fashion backlash.
The modest models at Wholesomewear.com would never be photographed panty-less coming out of the Hollywood hotspot Hyde. So if you’re ready to party like its 1899 the “culotte swimmer,” “skirted swimmer,” or the “slimming swimmer” might be a new choice for the beach this year. The website suggests their designs are the first to be introduced because “the need for modesty in swimwear is greatest and the supply is almost non-existent” and that the spandex garments with their loose outer layers “highlights the face, rather than the body”
Celebrity Blogger Perez Hilton also caught onto this recent wave in modesty and I think he states it best with “this is not a joke”
