Terminal 1 at Incheon International Airport, located just outside Seoul, South Korea, is now home to a coffee delivery robot by the name of Air-Dilly. Via an app called Baemin, those who find themselves at the airport can conveniently order items from Baskin-Robbins, Paris Baguette or Dunkin’ and have them delivered to their location. There are currently six robots that have been employed to handle these requests between limited hours of the day.
With a total carrying capacity of 37.48 pounds and the ability to serve people 820 feet from the participating businesses, Air-Dilly helps to reenergize travelers.
Air-Dilly has already been put to good use in hospitals and offices around Korea and this is the first time that the robot is being integrated into an airport.
