ABSOLUT's Final Reveal

Graphic Novelist Rafael Grampá Co-Creates User-Inspired Film (SPONSORED)

Graphic novelist Rafael Grampá has created a film like no other. The award-winning artist joined forces with ABSOLUT and participants from around the world to create a uniquely crowdsourced animated film inspired by ideas submitted from online users.

The film 'Dark Noir' is a result of the #NextFrame project, a collaboration between Grampá, ABSOLUT and a global audience of creative minds. Working with a community of Facebook fans, Grampá provided a creative outlet for people to share their ideas with the world. The interactions helped inspire the community and Grampá, culminating in a film that blends their collective imaginations. Grampá then rounded up the best animators he could find and transformed their creation into a 2D-3D mash-up animated short.

The making-of featurette (see below) gives you an insightful look at Grampá's creative process; watching him transform as he attempts to interpret his art and thousands of crowdsourced ideas into his first 3D animated film.
