New Balance introduces a new set of velcro shoes in the form of the 8040 sneakers. The drop is comprised of three shoes which are all made with a minimal design and subtle New Balance branding. It rests on top of the brand's chunky 9060 midsole unit and the upper is crafted from soft suede materials.
The velcro security is seen wrapping around the upper and held in place on the side. When it is peeled up, it unveils a set of laces, which means that further adjustment can be done discreetly. The 8040 sneakers are set to drop later this year as a part of the brand's Fall 2024 series and it comes in a brown or navy blue colorway.
