A graduate from the University of Toronto, I've learned that you really have to go after what you love to do, not what people 'think' you should do. I love to spend time with friends and family and absolutely love people with a sense of humor. I can’t get enough of anything celebrity news related and can watch YouTube videos for hours on end! Writing has always been a passion and I’ve found that it can be such an incredible way to convey your thoughts. With a little touch of creativity and imagination you can turn a simple story into something amazing.
What is unique that's not in your bio?
I am a big arts and crafts person. If there comes an opportunity to draw, paint or create something I'm there!
What's your favorite accomplishment?
Graduating with honors from The University of Toronto. Also being able to work on a BILD (Building Industry and Land Development) social media project for a client that won for best social media campaign.
How do you define cool?
Cool is the understated. Anything that looks like its trying to hard is definitely not cool.
What is your secret to uncovering trends?
Going beyond the norm and finding the weirdest, coolest or strangest thing out there. Odds are someone else will find them interesting too!
What do you enjoy most about Trend Hunter?
The wide scope of different trends.
What is your favorite trend?
Currently my favorite has to be the 'Diva Christmas Carol Renditions' with Mariah Carey, Jimmy Fallon and The Roots. It's one of my all-time favorite Christmas songs!
What are your tips for writing a juicy post?
Be honest yet witty. I always believe that humor is best approach.
How do you reset to be creative?
Definitely a clear mind gets the creative juices flowing. If you're too wrapped up thinking about something else then you'll most likely not focused on the task at hand.
What inspires or excites you?
Creativity. Especially from others around me. When you see others excelling or being at the top of their game it motivates you to do the same.
