Millennials are a generation that love to wear their heart on their sleeve and display their passions and interests to everyone, and soccer fashions are a way for soccer-loving young people to display their team allegiance while still looking fashionable.

The cornerstone of any soccer fan's wardrobe is of course the team soccer jersey. The big soccer teams rely on jersey sales for a big chunk of their revenue, so a great deal of thought goes into soccer jersey designs. In recent years, teams have parted ways with their traditional colors and have embraced new, bold and eye-catching colors and designs to sell jerseys.

Whereas in the past, soccer jerseys either used to be completely plain and bland or over-the-top snazzy, they now run the gamut from minimalist to eye-popping to suit every taste. Soccer teams are even introducing non-sporty soccer fashions, such as sweaters, formal shirts and even ties.

Soccer teams aren't the only ones making soccer apparel however. Makers of apparel for other sports have taken inspiration from soccer's unmatched traditions, while independent designers have even come up with fashions blending soccer with music or politics or example.
