Pancake Tuesday, also known as the Shrove Tuesday or Fat Tuesday immediately precedes Ash Wednesday, which is the first day of Lent for the Christian world and these outrageous pancake creations are a great way to celebrate.

This is the day that people are encouraged the indulge in their sweet tooth by eating as many pancakes as they wish to. Pancakes, therefore becoming a symbol for this final indulgence, also give ways to a lot of radical food creations and art work. Some people rightfully want to make the absolute best out of this freedom and decorate their pancakes as their favorite video game characters and pop icons. Others choose to incorporate their favorite flavors in their pancake mix and create what I can safely call a cloying feast.
