Gucci Bakes Expensive Treats in Tokyo

Believe it or not but Gucci does make pancakes.  And you thought pancakes were only for the wild west! 

Gucci Pancakes are available exclusively at Gucci Cafe in Ginza Tokyo.  The pancakes are among a number of luxury treats on the menu.

Implications - Once a brand has gone global and has billions to spend, they tend to branch out into different areas such as what Gucci did with their luxury cafe. Since people are already loyal to their brand, they are able to draw those people in to their new ventures with ease. Businesses that become well off have a better chance of succeeding when creating new types of products because of their already established consumer base.
