Many James Franco films are hilarious but his most recent gig with Seth Rogen in a movie called The Interview has not got a chuckle out of everyone. North Korean leader Kim Jong-un blasted the comedic duo for making a film that's storyline is about his assassination.

From celebrity spoof magazine covers to celebrity behind covers, James Franco has poked fun at people and at real life scenarios and events in almost all of his work. Stepping away from the controversy however, here's a list of James Franco films and features that are more lighthearted. Many of his works couldn't be possible without the help of his best friend Seth Rogen, but he does in fact contribute a lot to the creative industry. He has directed ad campaigns and short films all on his own.
