Cross-cultural meals offer two or more cultural food aesthetics to make one outstanding dish. These delicious hybrids include refashioned Italian dishes, Caribbean twists on Mexican meals and more.

Since pizza came to North America, the popular Italian dish has often been remixed to suit the many needs of Western foodies. Tandoori chicken pizza is a mashup of Indian and Italian flavors whereas poutine pizza puts a French Canadian spin on the European delicacy. When it comes to Mexican meals, tacos are given a Jamaican makeover with jerk shrimp ingredients while macaroni nachos give the Latin American snack an italian feel.

These cross-cultural meals also include a line of refashioned Asian meals. Sushi is given an American makeover with beefy burger rolls while crispy waffle sushi is a mix of both Japanese and Belgian aesthetics.
