Phish, possibly one of the most popularity bands of the 1990s, announced they would be making a comeback tour in March 2009 in Hampton, Virginia.

Phish was well known for their rock, jazz and a bit of bluegrass music. What I find most interesting is that Phish didn’t get their fame from media hype. Instead of lots of radio and TV time, Phish gained popularity through word of mouth, better known these days as WOM marketing.
