The guitar disappeared after a gig the band played in Helsinki, Finland at the Finnair Stadium. Peter Buck’s black Rickenbacker 360 guitar has been a crucial part of REM’s history since it was first used for the band’s 1982 debut ‘Chronic Town.’ There is a generous reward for information that leads to the return of the guitar to REM via fanclub@remtour.com or 706-353-6689 (country code 001, for those outside the US).
