While it can be extremely satisfying to get your hands on a vintage movie poster, it would be even cooler to possess a poster of a modern movie reworked into a vintage movie poster. Merging classic cool with the modern is what keeps vintage relevant and the modern grounded, this is exactly what Peter Stults does with these movie posters of very recent blockbuster hits.
Imagine going to see the new X-Men: Days of Future Past film and having Wolverine be played by a young Al Pacino rather than Hugh Jackman, that would be a very different experience to play the least. It wouldn't just stop there though as his whole case would also be from a previous age of actors.
The posters do a good job of harking back to an older time with not only the actors, but the washed out coloring.
