The new HP SlateBook 14 is powered by Android instead of Chrome OS. This may be confusing to some but the Android-powered notebook is suppose to be more capable. The SlateBook 14 resembles the HP Chromebook 11 that was released by HP late 2013.
The SlateBook 14 works just like you would expect an Android would, it is just now a much larger screen with more room for apps. The SlateBook 14 is powered by an Nvidia quad-core processor. This is great for gamers, as it has touchscreen capabilities. It also has a microSD card slot, HDMI port, 3 USB ports and a 3.5mm audio port. Even though all the specs have not been announced yet, the SlateBook 14 already sounds like a pretty impressive computer.
