Designer Jerome Daksiewicz has created a series of photo film prints that celebrate old world film manufacturers. The use of anolog film photography is a dying trade, and is rare to come across since the introduction of digital cameras and smartphones. The prints represent the film companies that are either out of business, bankrupt or have disappeared; however, one of the featured films, Ilford, is still being produced.
The designer loves mid-20th century international style graphic design, so he chose the brands and created the prints in a similar retrospect. The screen printing process is similar to film photography, and was used to commemorate this era of photographic tools.
To snatch up one of these historic screen prints, pledge for Daksiewicz’s Kickstarter campaign, which has already surpassed its funding goal.
