Joggers and passersby were given a huge surprise at the sight of a giant statue of a hedgehog just loitering around one of their parks.
Coming in at a staggering 7-feet in height, 12-feet in length, and 8-feet in width, this giant hedgehog statue is certainly getting noticed at Clapham Common in south London. This colossal hedgehog statue was sculpted using 2,000 soft wood spikes and was designed to promote the launch of David Attenborough's new 10-part series Natural Curiosities. The show will have Attenborough share stories of extraordinary creatures as he "reveals why he considers them to be nature’s curiosities."
While there are many ways to promote the upcoming premier of a new show, sculpting a giant statue of a hedgehog is certainly a unique way to go about doing it.
