Tweeting For Charity

I wanted to let you know about some friendly (or not-so-friendly) competition going on between ad agencies Leo Burnett Chicago and Arnold Boston. Inspired by the Stanley Cup Finals, our shops are matching up in a smack-talk tweet-off for charity – better known as “The Smackley Cup.”
Leo Burnett’s Chief Creative Officer, Susan Credle and Pete Favat, Chief Creative Officer for Arnold Boston have been fueling the fire with Tweets like:
@petefavat: The sun is setting on the Chicago Blackhawks reign. #smacktalkboston
@LeoBurnettChi: Hey, @petefavat-Thanks for the follow. You’re welcome for the win. #smacktalkchicago
The winning team’s agency will not only gain the pride and glory of the cup, but also receive a donation of up to ten thousand dollars to a charity of their choice.
Hockey fans are invited to join in the fun on Twitter up until the last day of the playoffs, with Hawks enthusiasts using #SmackTalkChicago, and Bruins fanatics playing along with #SmackTalkBoston. Check out TheSmackleyCup.com for the real-time tally of each side’s ball-busting jabs.
