This is certainly terrible news for the 10 million+ people who were password sharing with Netflix subscribers so that they could enjoy the popular streaming site for free. The streaming giant Netflix has changed its platform to discourage and eliminate password sharing and has created limited streaming to two devices at any given time for standard subscribers paying $7.99 a month. The company has come up with a 'family plan' that will allow four users to stream at the same time on different media for $11.99 a month.
Netflix is letting its current deal with Viacom expire at the end of May, this will more than likely mean that the platform will lose many stations and a whole lot of content. The password sharing with Netflix has been going on for a very long time now, why have they just decided to do this now? One thing is certain, there will be 10 million+ people who are extremely disappointed.
