The New Zealand Toilet Sculptures are a public art installation located in Wellington, New Zealand on its waterfront. Designed by architects from Studio Pacific, these are some of the most interesting bathrooms that we have ever seen. The washrooms look like they are some type of headless sea creatures!
The New Zealand Toilet Sculptures were mean to evoke "the crusty saltiness of the sea" and the waterfront's shipping history. Each structure only contains a single toilet, and the long neck that rises up acts as ventilation.
Usually people try to avoid public washrooms if they can, but these exciting washrooms make you want to go to the bathroom just to see what it is like. If that's not a successful washroom design then I don't know what is.
