The John Mayer Ellen Show Apology is Repentent
Jennifer Gosnell — May 15, 2012 — Pop Culture
John Mayer, after a two-year break, has arrived back on both the music scene and the public sphere. His break, as he states, was caused by his "violent crash" into becoming an adult where he did some incredibly questionable interviews. After humiliating both Jessica Simpson and Jennifer Aniston, Mayer retreated to Montauk (apparently) to get some distance from the whole situation, work some things out, and keep moving ahead with his music career.
His upcoming album Born & Raised, is set to release on May 22nd. Stating that this album is the most "honest" and "cohesive." He describes his break as having "remembered how to get happy."
The undoubtedly talented musician is a welcome return to rock music, and along with his apology for his behaviour, it'll be interesting to see how his overall return will be taken
