The Super Mario creator has recently announced it’s intent to unleash a Nintendo online gaming network. This will put Nintendo in line with Xbox Live and the PlayStation Network by allowing Nintendo owners to play their favorite games with participants around the world.
The online experience won’t just be for game play; Nintendo president Satoru Iwata claims that the interface will allow gamers to access full game title downloads, add-ons and various other online gaming experiences. Nintendo’s reputation for children’s gaming has set it apart from companies such as Microsoft and Sony in terms of gaming innovation, however, it was always known that the multinational company was lacking in terms of the online experience. The Nintendo online gaming network is a surefire way to gain a collective appreciation around the world for various Nintendo consoles.
