While a lot of fashion has borrowed styles from the 40s and 50s, these gadgets take retro-style tech a step further by blending vintage styles with the capabilities of today's technology.

Many modern devices adopt forms that eradicates buttons in favor of a sleek, minimal design. Because of this, a lot of phones, TVs and cameras start to look awfully similar. Instead of focusing purely on performance, these novel retro-inspired forms create new selling points that make them stand out in a competitive and rapidly changing market.

These retro-style gadgets may not be of any benefit to a device's performance, but since the baby boomers grew up in the 40s and 50s, these products bring back nostalgia for items they may have had at home in their youth.
