Blackberry users are, on average, more influential, relevant and central to online networks according to the social prestige-ranking website Klout's metrics. So if you plan on climbing the social ladder to success, you may have to ditch that iPhone or Android phone in your pocket.
With more than 80 million online denizens in its databanks, Klout's metrics rank each one individually based on their activity and the community’s response to it. A perfect score of 100 is awarded to celebrities like Justin Bieber and Kanye West, where everyone else falls somewhere in the middle. According to the website, the average score for Blackberry users is 43.6, while iPhone owners trail slightly behind with 42 points on average.
And what about Android users? Despite there being so many activated Android devices in the world, somehow the group’s average score is 4.6! If statistics are a good indication of reality, you won’t go far in life with an Android, it seems.
