Naomi Natale is a passionate artist and activist, combining visual expression with awareness efforts. She is the founder of the Cradle Project, a collaborative social art project that raised awareness for the 48 million orphans in the sub-Saharan.

Natale began the ‘One Million Bones’ project, which creates an interactive community effort. The project is a fundraising art installation to raise awareness for victims killed or displaced by genocide in Sudan, Congo and Burma. Natale organized local installations of 50, 000 handmade bones to spread the message and raise awareness.

Ultimately, the project will build to a 1 million-bone installation in the National Mall in Washington D.C. The heap of bones acts as a collective site of conscious and as a visual petition. When individuals can see their tangible role in a solution, they take action.
