Speaker Blake Mycoskie shares his personal story in this becoming an entrepreneur speech. Mycoskie started his first business when he was only 19 years old. He was inspired to start a laundry pick-up service in college after becoming injured. He was frustrated because he couldn't carry his laundry downstairs, and then he realized that he hated doing laundry even when he was healthy. Mycoskie says that he learned a lot from this experience.
After that, Mycoskie went on to open an advertising business, which involved putting posters up on the side of buildings. This business was a failure in terms of profit, but was another great learning experience.
Mycoskie states that taking chances and dealing with failure can eventually lead to great success.
