Nike Basketball introduces its newest sneaker model with the showcasing of the Air Zoom GT Cut 2 silhouette to join the roster for the season. It is part of the brand's Greater Than series that highlights the main movements that come from cutting, running, and jumping.
The new iterations are designed using a data-driven approach that highlights how to “enable the player’s ability to do that one thing that makes them ‘greater than.’” The latest shoe has a full-length signature ZSoom Strobel, which is a premium piece of technology that was first seen on Kevin Durant's KD 12 silhouette. This allows the foot to rest right on top of the Zoom cushioning foundation. Notably, the upper is made from reworked mesh in a slightly clear pattern.
