The Yummly Smart Thermometer Debuted at CES 2020

At CES 2020, Yummly (Whirlpool Corporation’s digital recipe and cooking platform) offered the first look at its Yummly Smart Thermometer, which will be available early this year. After the wireless smart thermometer launches, additional features will be available in late 2020, including the ability for the device to communicate with connected Whirlpool ovens. With this feature, the oven will know what step of a recipe is being followed and automatically make adjustments to raise or lower the temperature, or roast or broil as needed.
This new kitchen device uses dual-temperature sensors to monitor the oven and food simultaneously, and users are able to remotely keep tabs on what they're cooking via the Yummly app, and get notifications when their meal is ready.
