The adidas and Yohji Yamamoto shoes feature the branding from both the German sportswear brand and the Japanese fashion designer who's celebrated for his avant-garde looks.
With this release, the Yohji Yamamoto shoes stay true to the designer's legacy -- the two models making use of a statement leather and neoprene silhouette, which extends high up the shin and forms to the wearer's shape. The thin ankle is contrasted with a square toe on one model, as well as a thick white sole, whereas the other is a bit more traditional with a rounded shape.
In order to get the shape of the sneakers, the two collaborators considered the shape of ski boots. Each of the models in complemented with zippers on the sides that ensure an optimum fit and offer an edgy look simultaneously.
