One of the striking points of the Year 2050 Infographic when comparing the two survey dates is that general optimism about the future is on the decline. Another interesting point is that the April 2011 group believes that the future will be more affordable than its counterpart.
Implications - Youth consumers are fixated on representations of the future in all of its various forms. This stems from representations of the future that they have seen in popular media. Companies should be forward-looking in their campaigns and design.
