The Yamaha Oxi-Sanitation ad campaign addresses a very common yet often overlooked issue with helmets, the fact that they can be home to hard to get rid of bacteria. Since helmets are not the easiest piece of headgear to keep clean, it is pretty handy to have one that kills bacteria on its own.
Conceived and executed by Sao Paolo-based ad agency FAM, the Yamaha Oxi-Sanitation ad campaign features three helmets, each with a bacteria either surrendering, dying or pleading for help. It illustrates hilariously and quite adorably (for those who can find it in their hearts to view bacteria as adorable) how the Yamaha Oxi-Sanitation helmet works. This eco-friendly treatment makes sure that when the rider puts on his or her Yamaha helmet, he or she isn't imprisoning her head with infectious bacteria.
