Lenovo announced a new wireless charging mat at CES, named the ThinkBook Chargin Mat, which will be available as an accessory for its ThinkBook Pls Gen 2 i line of laptops.
The wireless charging mat runs on Energysquare’s Power by Contact. The ThinkBook Charging Mat can run for 15 hours on a single charge. Lenovo indicated that the ThinkBook Plus Gen 2 I will be commercially available in the next financial quarter and will have a price point of $15,49. However, Lenovo has not announced a price point for the wireless charging mat accessory.
Lenovo’s ThinkBook Plus Gen 2 I will feature a 13-inch screen with a 2560 x 1600 resolution. The screen also has an enhanced refresh rate, and the computer can run certain apps while the screen is closed.
