IoT solutions provider Wiliot has announced the launch of the Wiliot Starter Kit, an all-in-one IoT system designed for retailers. Of course, the kit utilizes Wiliot's IoT Pixels -- the brand's signature postage-stamp-sized computers -- which arrive pre-mounted on a coffee cup and cardboard construction.
Just like with Wiliot's other offerings, the IoT Pixels sense environmental data including room temperatures, motions, fill level, humidity, proximity, and location changes. Moreover, the Start Kit will also include several Bluetooth bridge devices that work to read the IoT Pixel tags.
According to the company, the new IoT solution will allow retailers to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of their operations in a variety of ways. These include enhancing inventory management, improving consumption monitoring, implementing product traceability, counterfeit prevention, and more.
