The Nike Week Zero Collection is Customized by Varsity Football Teams

Week Zero is the unofficial kickoff of the college football season and Nike is super excited about it.

In celebration, the sportswear giant is releasing the Week Zero Collection, featuring 13 varsity-themed pairs of Nike Free Trainer 5.0s. The collection launches on kickoff day. Each pair of shoes was designed in partnership with a different school team. The runners are customized in appearance, styled with the team's individual school colors and logos. Nike says that it "worked closely with the schools to make sure each product represents the culture and essence of their programs" on the Week Zero Collection.

Wearing the specialized Free Trainers, fans of collegiate football can "train like their team," according to the Week Zero Collection's slogan. Nike recognizes the modern sports fan's desire to participate in his team's process and successes in ever more active ways and has fully tapped into this with the Week Zero Collection.
